Who is Patrick Murray?

Patrick has assisted buyers and sellers in the sale of detached homes, semi-detached homes, townhomes, condominiums, land, vacation rentals, and has spent several years in the field of property management giving him a unique insight into helping buyers in many real estate scenarios including those with real estate investors.

With over 25 years in specialty customer service industries (including the airline industry, the funeral industry, the dental industry, and the real estate industry for the last 12 plus years), Patrick feels every real estate transaction is about his clients. It doesn’t matter if that is for the sale or purchase of a bachelor suite condominium or a luxury property. Every client is important and each is deserving of his time and expertise. He loves meeting people and getting to know them and their families on a one-on-one basis, and believes every interaction with a client is a customer service opportunity. He takes great pride in helping people with their real estate requirements and feels a great responsibility to his clients and their families, making every effort to assist and protect them throughout the entire real estate process.

Family is of utmost importance to Patrick. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife, son, and daughter. He also enjoys physical fitness, reading, writing, great movies, good wine and food, and travel.

Calgary City Centre District


Calgary’s City Centre District includes all communities that form part of the downtown and inner city core. The core neighbourhoods extend as far southwest as Killarney, as far southeast as Inglewood, as far south to Glenmore Trail and north to Highwood / Highland Park. Due to its location, the mature neighbourhoods of the City Centre district is one of the most desirable areas in Calgary. Here, there is close proximity to the Stampede Grounds, the Saddledome, many theaters, the stunning Calgary Public Library Main Branch, the National Music Centre, and of course, legendary cuisine, entertainment, shopping and more. This location also allows convenient access to the river pathway system, the Eau Claire market area, the East Village, Kensington and other vibrant areas of the city.

Calgary North District


Calgary’s North District includes the communities on the east and north side of Nose Hill Provincial Park that are also west of Deerfoot Trail. Award winning neighbourhoods such as Evanston, Panorama and Nolan Hill, for example, are found in the area.

The North District is known for its diverse terrain which includes everything from plateaus to valleys amid the beautiful rolling foothills of Southern Alberta. Many communities in the area are interconnected via beautiful ravines and paved pathways, making them family-oriented by design.

Calgary Northwest District


The Northwest District is found to the west of Nose Hill Provincial Park and north of the Trans Canada Highway. This district features family-oriented communities such as Tuscany, Arbour Lake, and Bowness, and is an excellent location for those who want quick access to the foothills and the mountains. This district also has many green spaces and parks throughout. Calgary’s northwest is serviced by the C-Train line that runs along Crowchild Trail.

Calgary Northeast District


The northeast district is popular for those looking at more affordable living arrangements on a comparative basis with many other areas in the city, with some pockets of exceptions. Calgary’s northeast is home to the Calgary International Airport, making this district an ideal place to live for those who frequently travel. Public transportation is excellent here with bus and C-Train service, offering transport to other areas of the city.

Calgary West District


Calgary’s West District features many sought-after neighbourhoods and is known for higher end real estate with such communities as West Springs and Aspen. This district is a great option for families looking to live a suburban lifestyle not too far away from the City Centre and it is also serviced by a C-Train line. This district is in close proximity to the mountains, allowing residents to skip the city traffic and escape to ski and hike much more efficiently than if they were living on the east side of the city, for example.

Calgary South District


Calgary’s South District is known by many Calgarians as the “southwest” and features many family-oriented communities with easy access to popular areas of outings such as Bragg Creek and Kananaskis Country. This district is also serviced by the south leg of the C-Train line, making it a convenient area to live for those who rely on public transportation to get from point A to B. It is also home to exclusive lake communities such as Sundance and Midnapore and the very popular Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Calgary Southeast District


Calgary’s Southeast District is another family-oriented part of the city  and is home to award-winning lake communities such as Auburn Bay, McKenzie Lake and Mahogany. These neighbourhoods provide real estate opportunity for buyers from many walks of life and provide access to community Homeowners Associations and their facilities. Many of these communities are self sufficient with several available amenities. This district is also home to the city’s newest hospital, the South Health Campus, making this district popular with those who work at this facility. These communities are well connected to other parts of the city via Stoney and Deerfoot Trails and have easy access to communities outside of Calgary such as Okotoks and High River.

Calgary East District


Calgary’s East District provides some of the city’s the most affordable real estate on a comparative basis with similar properties in other districts. This section of the city is home to 17th Avenue SE, also known as “International Avenue”, and it features many diverse grocers, restaurants, and cultural centres and temples dedicated to various faiths. The East District is also home to a mixed-use community called Belvedere where you’ll find a Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot and many more similar box stores that make living here convenient.
